What conditions are commonly assessed and treated at Keystone Center?
We diagnose and treat a variety of development, behavioral, and emotional disorders. Our expertise includes, but is not limited to:

Which treatment approaches are typically used in therapy at Keystone Center?
Our center emphasizes behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, and/or mindfulness-based approaches in therapy. Treatment may come in different formats based on the needs of the child and family, and treatment plans often include collaboration with other care providers (e.g., educators, doctors, and other therapists).
How do we get started?
A referral is not required to receive services at Keystone Center. Please call the office at 985-234-0228 to speak with office staff. An administrative staff member will gather relevant information and provide instructions regarding how to download and complete the intake packet. Once our office receives the necessary paperwork, we will contact you to schedule the first appointment. We look forward to serving your child and family.
Where is Keystone Center located?
Keystone Center for Pediatric Behavioral Health is located at 319 S. Tyler Street in Covington, LA. Our office is housed within Leblanc Pediatrics Covington Clinic.
What are Keystone Center's fees?
Fees are dependent on the service(s) delivered. Our administrative staff will provide the current fee schedule and answer any and all questions relating to fees and payment.
Please note that we are not in-network with any commercial or governmental health insurance plan providers; however, we will gladly provide a comprehensive statement including all information required to submit a claim to your policy provider. We cannot guarantee services are covered under your policy, nor the amount that may be reimbursed. We encourage you to speak to your insurance provider prior to scheduling to ensure an accurate understanding of reimbursement rates.
What is Keystone Center's cancellation policy?
We kindly ask that our office is notified of a cancellation at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. A cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment may result in charges.
Will information shared be kept private and confidential?
The privacy of information exchanged during all services is protected by law. Note that knowledge that a child has been or is in danger of harm or neglect is required by law to be reported to the Department of Children and Family Services. Additionally, the law requires that confidentiality be broken with or without permission if there is risk of serious harm. If it is agreed upon that it is in the best interest of your child and family to exchange information with another party (e.g., your child’s school), written consent will be obtained prior to doing so.
Who should we contact in case of an emergency?
Our phone is answered by voicemail during non-business hours, and we cannot guarantee each call will be answered during business hours. In case of emergency, please call 911 and/or proceed to the nearest emergency room.
